Mark Joiner is a Director at Black Swan Group Limited in Hong Kong and runs the business here having started his career in London in 2006 recruiting compliance professionals. After leaving the recruitment industry in 2007 to obtain an international qualification as a Chartered Surveyor, Mark landed in Singapore in August 2012 before moving back to recruitment in 2014 to help launch the Black Swan Group business in Asia.
Having left the industry for 7 years Mark was fascinated by the growth and change in the compliance recruitment industry from 2007 to 2014 and has spent the last 6 years assisting over 100 compliance professionals with career moves in Singapore, Hong Kong, China and Australia from AVP to MD level. He will be providing insights in to the current trends in compliance recruitment and where he sees the industry going in the next few years.
Kelly-Ann is the Director, Asia-Pacific for MyComplianceOffice (MCO), formerly known as TerraNua. Kelly-Ann is responsible for the growth and retention of our Asia-Pacific region, across Conduct Risk, Employee Compliance and Control Room compliance activities. In Asia-Pacific, Kelly-Ann provides the voice of our customers in the region to our global product management teams to enhance and develop our suite of regulatory solutions, ensuring the needs of Asia are met. She is also responsible for growing the local office to support the region.
Kelly-Ann has 12 years of experience in the compliance & risk management industry including both as a practitioner and as a solution provider. Kelly-Ann’s recent experience has included managing regional product & sales teams for Financial Services Regulatory Compliance solutions. This included ensuring the regions product requirements were discovered, designed and developed. Kelly-Ann has been a central part of global product management teams, working in conjunction with global sales teams to ensure they had the tools necessary for successful customer engagements.
Kelly-Ann graduated from the University of Auckland in Accounting and Information Systems, she is a Certified Risk & information controls professional and in a previous life was once a Chartered Accountant.
With over 18 years’ experience in a range of fields and disciplines within legal and financial services non-financial risk, Oonagh has built and lead various compliance risk frameworks and teams across the industry and developed and maintained regulatory and industry body relationships.
She is an advocate for ethical compliance leadership and framework development, with increased automation, including AI and Machine learning integration. She is also passionate about empowering people with the capabilities to address risk challenges through understanding behaviours to break down barriers and create cultures of morally imperative business-sensitive decision making
